Katie Deits
Katie Deits sculptor, Master Photographer, educator, and writer. In 2007, she was awarded the South Florida Cultural Consortium fellowship for Palm Beach County. http://www.palmbeachculture.com/
Deits grew up in the Palm Beaches, studied art in New York City and Florence, Italy, and has a bachelor of fine arts degree from University of South Florida. She holds the Florida Degree of Photographic Excellence and a Master of Photography from Professional Photographers of America.
In the fine arts arena, Deits creates original sculptures and fine arts photography. She has traveled around the world and has won many awards for her photography.
Deits has been on the art faculties of Barry University and Palm Beach Community College.
She is involved in the community, and has served as a board member of the Palm Beach Photographic Centre and Executive Women of the Palm Beaches.
Her mission and purpose are to create dynamic works of art that will encourage as many people as possible to reflect on their own lives, discover their purpose and mission, and use this awareness to create a better world for humanity.
