Katie Deits brings over 15 years of leadership experience in the nonprofit sector. She is a Certified Fund Raising Executive (CFRE) and a Certified Grant Writer through the Grant Professionals Association.

For more than 14 years, Katie served as CEO of two major arts organizations, where she worked closely with boards of directors, managed diverse teams, and oversaw marketing, communications, and finances.

Today, Katie partners with nonprofits to strengthen their missions through expert grant research and writing, strategic marketing, and board governance training. Her passion is helping organizations thrive through thoughtful planning, compelling storytelling, and sustainable funding strategies.

Exhibition Development
With a strong background in the arts, Katie also offers consulting in the creation and curation of art exhibitions. She has developed and managed dozens of exhibitions—from concept to opening—featuring local, national, and international artists. Her curatorial approach emphasizes artistic quality, audience engagement, and mission alignment, helping organizations use exhibitions as powerful tools for education, advocacy, and community connection.
